Turmeric Juice Recipe


  • 6 fresh turmeric root knobs
  • 1 three inch ginger knob
  • 4 cups purified water
  • 1 cinnamon bark
  • 3 cracked cardamom pods
  • 1.5 tablespoon of local honey lots of benefits in eating honey local to your plants
  • 1 strip of orange peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 sprig of fresh mint
  • juice of a half lemon


  • Bring the water, cinnamon, cardamom, honey, orange peel, and pepper to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Kill the heat, add the mint and lemon juice.
  • While you are making the herbal "tea", go ahead and peel the ginger and turmeric.
  • Throw the turmeric and ginger into the juice extractor.
  • Extract that magic.
  • Combine the juice with the cooled herb/spice tea.
  • Refrigerate for an hour.
  • Consume.
