Why Even Read This Food Blog?

This Food Blog
Food is a passion of mine. Thinking about it, preparing it, cooking it, eating it and the presentation of it just makes me happy. It’s an art. Just like a Monet or a Dali, there are many layers to it. Cooking is also a trust thing. It is a bond between cook and consumer/reader.
Originally, I created this blog for my own record, my own vault of recipes and food that I have personally perfected. Then I began creating blog posts and such for my friends and family. Now, I write about food, recipes and techniques that perhaps any one of my readers can use for their own parties, family and lives.
I grew up on a little farm in Tennessee. My parents divorced when I was quite young so naturally all the cooking fell on my mom. During the weekends, she would teach me how to make a Salisbury steak so that I wouldn’t eat junk food while she worked nights. Eventually, I picked up omelettes, roasts, marinades, stocks and stews. The passion for cooking coursed through my veins like a rich marinara. I was eleven. I eventually ended up taking a lot of cooking jobs during college. Unlike a lot of people, I really enjoyed it. The pay was low, the owners were usually drug addicts, but I had a great time. I worked at Italian places, delis, French bistros, breweries, etc. I’m no Top Chef or Hell’s Kitchen winner, but I do know how to cook good food, traveled the world and have learned a lot since those days with my mom.
My Guarantee…
Everything is either 100% original or something fantastic which I always give credit to. I am not just aggregating content just to have it. I am inspired by everything I post and every link I create.
Thank you for reading,
