Broiled or Grilled Trout RecipeLake Trout and Herbs recipe. Wow, so good if you like fish. This ultra simple fish recipe draws smiles every time I have ever served it. Keep an extra wedge of lemon on the plates to freshen up your hands with. You just never know.

2 fresh whole lake trout (gutted only)
2 sprigs of thyme
2 sprigs of parsley
4 garlic cloves
2 lemon wedges
olive oil
kosher salt

How simple could it get. Take two nice size (about 12-16 inches) whole trout, open their midsection and remove all goop. In the belly, place a bouquet of thyme, parsley, garlic cloves and a slice of lemon. Seal the belly with a toothpick or some cooking twine, rub a little olive oil and kosher salt on the outside of the fish, cover the entire fish loosely with foil and throw them in the broiler for about 14 minutes. I’ve seen this recipe in many American restaurants for about $22 USD. What a fantastic meal to make at home for about $10!

Fish is great for you. Your date will be very impressed with the gourmet presentation. This recipe is also a winner on camping trips especially if your in the wilderness (http://www.dickproenneke.com) and you can catch these beauties yourself!
